One family house. Rooms for a night, a week or a semester.

Since 2003 our family has opened the doors of this house, built in the early 1900s, to guests. Every room is different, the kitchen is yours to use, and check-in works without a reception.

Five floors, no lift. Nine shared bathrooms, one kitchen, a living room. Dark blue rooms are men-only dorms, the orange one is women-only.

Pick a room

Every room is furnished differently – some with paintings by local artists, some with bold wallpaper, many with a balcony to the courtyard. Bathrooms are on the corridor: we do the deep clean, and guests help keep them tidy in between.

Many of our guests are international students and interns who need a furnished room from day one, before they find a flat – or instead of one. You can book weeks or months directly online.

Questions we get a lot

Can I check in late at night?

Check-in is digital and possible from 14:00 – we need that time beforehand to clean your room. Once you have your door code, you can come in any hour of the day or night. Please keep the house quiet after 22:00.

Is breakfast included?

No. There is a bakery next door and you can use the shared kitchen at any time of day.

Can I book for one night only?

Yes, from one night up to a whole semester. Long stays of two months or more have their own cancellation terms.

Do you have parking?

Free street parking is usually easy to find nearby. Courtyard parking is sometimes possible for a fee – ask before you arrive.

Are the dorms mixed?

No. The dorms are men-only or women-only. All other rooms are private.

What are the house rules?

Quiet hours 22:00–06:00, kitchen locked at night, no smoking inside (there is a smoking area in the courtyard), no outside guests overnight.
